Maintenance Feeding vs Increased Support Feeding
Maintenance Feeding – 3 treats per day
For simple, everyday use. Once your dog has settled into their routine, continue with 3 treats per day.
Increased Feeding – 6 treats per day
For times when you choose to provide a higher daily amount, increase to 6 treats per day for a short period before returning to the usual Maintenance Feeding amount.
Always start with Maintenance Feeding first.
Allow approximately one week for your dog to adjust before increasing the daily amount.
Sensitive tummy?
If your dog develops loose stools when first starting, reduce to approximately half the Maintenance amount for the first week, then gradually build back up.

NEW TO ACTIV JOINTS?
STEP 1
START
Begin with the normal Maintenance Feeding amount: 3 treats per day.
STEP 2
ALLOW 1 WEEK
Give your dog approximately one week to adjust.
Sensitive tummy?
If your dog develops loose stools when first starting, reduce to approximately half the Maintenance amount for the first week, then gradually build back up.
STEP 3
MAINTAIN OR INCREASE
If your dog is doing well, continue with the normal Maintenance Feeding amount.
For periods when you choose to increase their daily intake, move to the Increased Feeding amount: 6 treats per day for a short period, before returning to their normal maintenance amount.
STEP 4
RETURN TO MAINTENANCE
Once they’re doing well, return to 3 treats per day for ongoing joint and mobility support.
